Featured Rider: Ryan Johnson

"You mentally get a hold of yourself and don’t let that moment control you! You go do what you’ve done a million times! You get around 3 barrels!" (Sheri Cervi)

Ryan Johnson is a U.S. Ambassador for K and T Creations LLC! She is also the Sr. Miss SCCA rodeo queen. She is from the town of Birmingham, Alabama. Ryan professionally rodeos every weekend, and takes her colts to jackpots during the week.

"K and T is my favorite company to buy reins from," Ryan said. "With the job of riding many horses, I can switch the reins so easily and [they're] so comfortable to ride in!"

Ryan has been riding horse for 10 years now, and has always shown in the western discipline.

"I show my horses in IPRA (International Professional Rodeo Association) , SPRA (Southeastern Professional Rodeo Association) , and LSRC (Lone Star Rodeo Company)," Ryan explained. "I am currently sitting 6th in the SPRA standing with not a great year and in top 20 in LSRC! I was 2017 Rookie of the Year in the SPRA! I am currently winning that Above Barrels Association barrel racing series!"

Ryan currently owns two horses of her own. "Cloudy is my main horse," Ryan elaborated. "He is 10 years old and a grey! He’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. He has gotten me where I am today. He is a 1D rodeo horse! He LOVES tiny barrel patterns!"

"I bought Vegas about 6 months ago," Ryan said. "He was just a pasture ornament no one rode him. I have trained him on barrels. The main reason I got him is that I travel to the circuit A LOT and I wanted Cloudy to have a buddy. He’s definitely been the best for the job!"

"My horsey goals are to make the NFR when I turn 18," Ryan said. "My non-horsey goals are to run for Miss Rodeo USA!"
